Frequently Asked Questions
What types of planning services do you offer?
I offer full & partial planning, design support, and wedding day coordination.
Some clients come to me with most of their vendors already booked and just need help pulling everything together. Others need more hands-on support with decisions, logistics, and overall direction.
What’s the difference between partial planning and wedding day coordination?
Wedding day coordination is focused on execution — I step in 3-4 weeks before to confirm details, build your timeline, and manage the day itself. Partial planning is more involved. I’m working with you earlier in the process to help with vendor direction, design decisions, and keeping everything organized as you go. If you’re not sure what you need, we can talk it through.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. I’m based in Omaha and work throughout the Midwest, but I take on a limited number of out-of-state events each year.
When should we hire a planner?
For full planning, earlier is always better so we can build a strong foundation from the start.
For wedding day coordination, I typically step in about 4 weeks before the wedding, but it’s best to book sooner to ensure availability.
We’ve already planned most of our wedding — can you still help?
Absolutely! I can step in toward the end to organize everything, confirm details with your vendors, and make sure nothing gets missed so you don’t have to manage it all on your wedding day.
How involved are you in the planning process?
It depends on the level of service, but my role is to bring structure and clarity.
That can look like:
-
helping you make decisions
-
keeping track of details and deadlines
-
coordinating with vendors
-
building and managing your timeline
You’re not handing everything off, but you’re also not carrying it alone.
Will you be there on the wedding day?
Yes. I’m there to manage the timeline, coordinate vendors, handle any issues that come up, and keep things moving so you and your people can stay present.
Do you help with design and decor?
Yes, I help refine your overall vision, guide design decisions, and make sure everything feels cohesive, without it becoming overwhelming or overcomplicated.
How many weddings do you take on at a time?
I take on a limited number of events so I can be fully present for each one.
What’s the next step if we’re interested in working together?
You can fill out the inquiry form HERE with a few details about your event. From there, we’ll set up a call to talk through what you’re planning and what kind of support makes the most sense.
How do we know if we actually need a planner?
If things are starting to feel scattered, unclear, or heavier than you expected, that’s usually the point where having support makes a real difference.
